DJ and producer based between Strasbourg and Brussels, ak12vy explores the intersection of club music and street culture through bass music and hybrid club forms. This residency at Kiosk Radio focuses on subcultures from Chicago, Detroit and the SoundCloud underground, such as footwork, juke, jungle, ghetto tech and step. Each show connects trap influences, raw 808 driven rhythms and chopped acapellas into a shifting dancefloor language. Inspired by DJ Rashad, DJ Earl, DJ Paypal, repairkit and others, the project builds bridges between different generations of bass music. At its core, where the street meets the club.
