ORPHÉE explores the shared roots of acid house, proto-techno and early psychedelic electronics. Starting with deep, slow-burning acid grooves, the set gradually drifts towards early Goa records played at 33 RPM instead of 45—a deliberate nod to the way Belgian DJs slowed down EBM and new beat records in the late ’80s to uncover an entirely different emotional landscape. The result is less a genre exercise than a continuous journey, revealing unexpected connections between these musical worlds.
