Outsiders: Honey Trap w/ Inés

Inés is a Chicago based DJ, record collector, party organizer, and visual artist. She is a significant player in the city’s underground, throwing the well-loved party Work Ethic. Mentorship from the likes of Darryn Jones and Mark Grusane have helped develop her ear for the weirder corners of dance music; with crates full of deep disco, low-down funk, dancefloor jazz and left-field house, Inés has become known in Chicago and abroad as a talented selector of music at the margins. This set was recorded live at Work Ethic, April 4th, utilizing both line input and a microphone for crowd/room noise.
