Sofi (Sofia Zaiceva) is a Latvian sound artist, composer and performer. With a background that spans academic classical piano training and electroacoustic composition to live coding and DJ scene, she is exploring symbiotic relationships between a performer and algorithmic processes, prioritising open-source approach. Through creative coding, spatial sound design, and improvisational practice, she excavates the relational qualities of sonic environments - revealing how digital processes can articulate deeply human experiences. Her latest releases include collaborative album “SHE HAS CANDY” by duo CATPURSE (SØVN Records, 2025) and solo albums “hypergloss”(Superpang, 2025) "aze" (Riforma, 2024).
