Outsiders: Kanal w/ Joëlle Tuerlinckx & Christoph Fink
The Antechambers of Culture #1 is a 60-minute journey through the sound archive of Belgian artists Christoph Fink and Joëlle Tuerlinkcx, spanning thousands of hours. A door opens, spaces are crossed, museums visited, artworks commented upon, doors close again on another day, another voice, yet another word… As in The Living Mirror by René Magritte, it is through a progression of galleries carved into the color of sound that Fink and Tuerlinckx lead us here toward words, and into the backstage of a work of art, into these antechambers of culture where, still in formation, it has not yet been domesticated or territorialized.
