Nonlocal Reseach is a Belgo-Chilean label, a carrier for adventurous music. Born from sci-fi feelings and a love for sonic fictions, they support like-minded artists and xenophiles. 

Frequent Nonlocal collaborator Tristàn Sotomayor shares a series of unreleased ambient works, concocted last year. One of these deeply meditative pieces came out on his brand new label Telesterion, next to an ambient compilation of other Chilean artists, including NLR’s own Renek. Soon to be a medical doctor he’s treating Covid patients in the Hospital of Osorno in South Chile, the rural area where he lives. Besides his dedication to healing the machine body he is much devoted to his electronic babies. Go ahead and take this medicine, one for the spirit.
