Rosie From the Block
Rosie From The Block is a Brussels-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and DJ with a deep love for Afro-American music from the 70s and 80s. Influenced by acid jazz, street soul and broken beat from the UK, her sound is warm, groove-led and emotionally rich. Her sets and productions are shaped by syncopated rhythms, jazzy chords and gospel-tinged vocals, balancing musicality with dancefloor sensibility. The result feels soulful yet contemporary, rooted in tradition while moving forward. Rosie’s music has earned international support and releases on respected European labels, alongside radio shows in Brussels and London. Whether performing in intimate live settings or behind the decks, she brings a distinct blend of musicianship and club energy, guided by groove, feeling and a strong connection to Black musical heritage.
