haunted {& dirty) ones

haunted {& dirty ones) is a bi-monthly purple-souped show at the crossroads of memphis influences: dirty south, devyl shit, chopped & screwed crunk, horrorcore, phonk, mumble rap, cloud rap, and other major offshoots of the trap nation (as its great cousins). At the heart of subgenres inherited from the ethereal southern US and sounds overlaping with eastern europe’s SoundCloud valley, you’ll occasionally encounter the mischievous spirits of trip-hop, some skinny layers of illbient and a few sprites of saturated new relatives aka hood/vamp trap. During these hazy journeys, sound becomes a lost & haunted media, cursed by spectral toplines and their filthy litanies under a downpour of 808s and heavy grimed basslines.
