BUBBLING NIGHT

Bubbling Night is a club night curated by Laryssa Kim and NMSS, taking place at Beursschouwburg on September 18. For this edition, they invite Tsunamy and PRVNE for a night where Afro-Caribbean and diasporic rhythms meet electronic club music. At the heart of the night is Bubbling, the high-energy electronic genre that emerged from Caribbean diaspora communities in the Netherlands in the late 1980s and early 1990s, alongside Kuduro, Soca, Batida and other diasporic club sounds. Rooted in community and inclusivity, the night celebrates both the history of these sounds and their contemporary mutations.
