Outsiders: Proxima

Proxima invites Thomas Kick! Tomaso, aka Thomas Kick, was born in Milan and raised in the countryside. His musical roots span Hip Hop, Jazz and House, shaped by years of digging through forums, CDs and records in search of new sounds. In 2022, he founded Vinilos Viajeros in Barcelona, an appointment-only record shop that quickly became a key hub for the city’s electronic underground. He is also co-founder of Fuorimilano and curates a weekly Tuesday residency at Oblicuo Hi-Fi focused on immersive Ambient and Downtempo sessions. With a vast record collection, his sets move fluidly from deep, downtempo journeys to peak-time energy and intimate after-hours moods. He has contributed mixes to platforms including Slow Life Music and The MuddShow, while collaborating with Lírica Archives and N.ear Space across Europe.
