Yôkaï

Yôkaï is a Brussels-based six-piece instrumental band, somewhere between jazz, dub, psychedelia, experimental rock and electronic music. Their third album, Humboldt, is coming out worldwide on 16 October 2026.The band has recently reshaped itself and developed a more direct and instinctive way of working, with new material growing out of collective improvisation. The result is quite physical and electric: dub-infused grooves, analogue synths, baritone guitar, sharp guitars and exploratory wind instruments, with plenty of space for repetition, texture and unexpected turns.
