Gio Civitenga is a Rome-based DJ and producer, known for curating Skyapnea on NTS Radio, a long-running series exploring broken club, dub, experimental electronics and atonal drifts.

His DJ sets follow the same no-genre approach, moving freely from ’90s chillout to contemporary experimental bass. He releases music across several projects, including Eter Dex, Detraex Corp and Rain Text, exploring club music, experimental dub and sound as a form of mnemonic archaeology.
