musclecars

Native New Yorkers Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield, aka musclecars, are a DJ and producer duo blending soulful dance music with deep house, jazz and cinematic textures. Rooted in community, their sound draws on the rich legacy of Black and Brown dance music, earning them international recognition and releases across the global underground scene.

In 2018, they founded Coloring Lessons, a platform celebrating this heritage through parties, a record label, radio shows and educational projects. Inspired by New York institutions like The Paradise Garage, The Loft and Body & Soul, musclecars continue to connect generations through music.
